We are really glad you are considering visiting us! If this is your first visit to LEPC, here is some information that you might find helpful.
What times are your worship services?
We have one worship service Sunday morning at 10:45. Sunday school starts at 9:30.
Where is LEPC located?
Lebanon Evangelical Presbyterian Church is located in Greenwood, Va., on Route 250, 3.3 miles west of I-64. Need directions?
Should I attend Sunday School?
Attending Sunday School is entirely up to you. We believe Sunday School to be one opportunity among many for spiritual growth, and it is provided for adults as well as children. Feel free to come and give it a try. It starts at 9:30 am. We also strongly encourage topics and ideas for our future studies, so if you have something in mind, please feel free to suggest it.
Is there a program for children during the Worship Service?
Yes, we have a Sunday children's church (K-3), and parents have this option available to them after the offering. On Communion Sundays, typically the first Sunday of the month, children may return after the sermon and remain with their parents for the rest of the service, which includes communion.
Is there a nursery available?
Yes, we have some wonderful people who volunteer their time to provide loving care to little ones.
How should I dress?
Don’t worry about what you wear — dress casually or dress up — whatever makes you comfortable. Most people dress business casual.
What will I experience?
The people of LEPC are warm and friendly and you'll probably meet a few people you already know. The praise team starts the worship service with a contemporary song, which is followed by our welcoming announcements. During the service, you'll find that our music is a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary songs.
After the service is over, please hang around to chat for a few minutes with our wonderful congregation.
